2014 Toyota Corolla is a Different Beast

Gone are the days of the Corolla just being known as the boring compact car. The new 2014 Toyota Corolla has been redesigned with modern styling and features but retains all of the things Corolla loyalists love. The best-selling car in the history of the world just got better.

2014 Toyota Corolla InteriorAll aspects of the 2014 Corolla have received the makeover treatment. The freshened up exterior styling has a wider and lower body that resembles that of an Audi or Acura. It’s definitely a far cry from the previous versions. It’s longer too by over two and half inches. The additional 4 inches added to the wheelbase increased cabin room by six percent.

Two new gearboxes in the powertrain make for more efficiency in the Corolla. There’s a six-speed manual and a CVT engine. Fuel economy has been improved to 31 MPG* overall. The newest trim level, the LE Eco, uses a new technology to keep the throttle blade open during higher speeds. The new trim model is also available in a fresh color called “Blizzard Pearl.”

Standard on every Corolla are color-keyed outside door handles, mirrors, power door locks with automatic locking, driver-side one-touch up and down window, 60/40 split fold down rear seat, A/C with pollen filter and Bluetooth connectivity.

The best part about the Corolla is its incredible value. The price tag starts at $16,800 but the biggest value is what you get for it. Also, the Corolla is extremely reliable but in the event you do need a repair its one of the more affordable vehicles to service and maintain.
