2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser Will Retire in Style with ‘Ultimate Edition’

The Toyota FJ Cruiser has been known for its impressive off-road ability, and distinct retro style. The midsized SUV echos the iconic FJ40 series Land Cruiser, originating in 1960 and produced through ’84., both in style and tough dependability. While the FJ Cruiser has provided drivers with extreme capability, comfort, and rugged simplicity throughout its eight-model-year run, Toyota has decided it is time for the SUV to graciously make its exit. Not only is Toyota presenting to drivers the new 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser, what they call “the toughest, and most capable FJ ever,” but they’re releasing a limited production FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Ultimate Edition. The Trail Teams Ultimate Edition, to be released in February 2014, will have unique styling cues, like trim-exclusive paint with a white grille frame and TTU-specific blue. The exterior styling is made complete with rock rails, roof rack, and 16-inch alloy wheels with large BF Goodrich A/T KO tires. The trim also receives an off-road suspension with Toyota Racing Development springs and Bilstein race shocks, as well as a quarter-inch-thick skid plate.
