Performance
No matter which of these three 4Runner trims you select, it will run on the same 270-horsepower 4-cylinder engine that generates 278 pound-feet. The SR5 and Limited come with standard rear-wheel drive while the 4Runner Trail has standard part-time four-wheel drive. All models have the same 5-speed automatic transmission.
Interior
The 4Runner Limited takes the standard air conditioning and vents in the SR5 and Trail and throws in dual-zone automatic climate control for optimized comfort in hot Texas weather. You will find numerous infotainment options in all trims, including the ability to upgrade your SR5 or Trail to Entune Premium Audio that includes Navigation. If you select the Limited, you automatically get Entune Premium JBL Audio, a system which includes Navigation as well as the App Suite. In terms of upholstery, expect fabric from the two lower trims and perforated leather from the Limited.
Exterior
You will notice the most dramatic exterior differences between these three trims in terms of colors and wheels. The SR5 and Trail are both mostly color-keyed with silver and black endcaps, respectively, on the roof rails. The Limited trim adds a great deal of chrome instead of this coloring.
