It’s almost time for the 72nd Annual Rodeo Killeen. This is one of our community’s most eagerly awaited events, and this year’s Rodeo Killeen is gearing up to be the best one in its long and rich history! The fun kicks off May 16 and continues through May 18 at Killeen Rodeo Arena.
Rodeo Killeen Schedule
Hold on to your saddle – Rodeo Killeen promises three nights of fast-paced, bull-riding, barrel-racing fun for all ages. Each night features a 7:30 p.m. pre-show and an 8 p.m. show, and there are special ticket prices and events throughout the Rodeo’s run.
Thursday, May 16 is Military Appreciation Night. Active, Guard, Reserve, and Families get in free with a valid military ID.
Friday, May 17 is City of Killeen Employee Night. City employees get in free with their valid city employee ID. Their families can exchange four cans of food per person for admission.
Saturday, May 18 is Educators Night. Faculty and staff get free admission with their employee ID. Family members can exchange four cans of food each for entry.

You don’t want to miss out on the 72nd Annual Rodeo Killeen. With events including bareback bronc riding, barrels, bull riding, saddle bronc riding, and team roping, this Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association–sanctioned event promises action-packed excitement.
According to Rodeo Killeen volunteer and committee member Deborah Lackey, “This rodeo is a money maker for the city of Killeen and that’s a nice bonus to all this.”
Tickets in advance are $13 for adults, $8 for kids; tickets at the gate are $15 for adults, $10 for kids. The Killeen Rodeo Arena is located at 3601 SWS Young Drive in Killeen, TX.
