The Toyota RAV4 has been a staple in the crossover vehicle market for decades. With competitive cargo space, a sportier style engine even in the standard model, and a supportive suspension for
all the inevitable potholes and speedbumps, it is difficult to imagine that the model could be improved upon. Toyota has done it, though, and very well.
New Features
What is new about this model, you ask? First and foremost, it is now a Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. There will be front and rear battery packs that make up the AWD feature on this four cylinder engine, with will give the RAV4 Hybrid increased fuel economy and environmental impact ratings. There are exterior styling updates, soft-touch surfaces on the upper door sill and lower dash, a standard leather-wrapped steering wheel on all but the base trim, a revised cup holder design (for those giant cups of coffee), and certain trim levels that offer running lights and full LED headlights.
Options
As far as optional features, there are several new ones to choose from. There are options from multi-camera parking aids to advanced collision prevention technologies, from parking sensors to an SE trim that features sharper driving dynamics.
