2020 So Natural Veggie & Art Fest
This year’s event will be on Saturday, January 18, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Killeen Civic & Conference Center.
New for this year is the art festival portion of the event, which will feature live art and a competition as well. There will also be guest speakers, vendors, entertainment, giveaways, tasty food samples, and live demonstrations.
The mission of the event is to increase access to organic foods with a focus on whole, plant-based eating. There will be delicious vegan and vegetarian food available for current veg-eaters, and those who are curious about making the transition to plant-based eating.
Tickets to the event are $5, but attendees are encouraged to bring a donation of travel-sized toiletries such as wipes, deodorant, hand sanitizer, toothbrushes, toothpaste, lotion, or more. See the full list here.

About So Natural Catering
So Natural began as a restaurant in 2013 serving vegan, vegetarian, Paleo, gluten-free, keto, diabetic and heart-healthy dishes. The restaurant is veteran and family-owned and operated, and was featured on Food Network’s Restaurant Impossible for Season 13 on April 20, 2016. So Natural decided to close the restaurant portion of their business in August 2018 to focus on catering and offering community events.
In addition to hosting the annual Veggie & Art Fest, So Natural also offers monthly C.R.E.W Lunches at their former restaurant space, where the local high school C.R.E.W program students prepare the meals, serve guests, and run the restaurant one afternoon a month. Participating schools include Ellison High School, Harker Heights High School, Killeen High School, and Shoemaker High School.
Cooking Classes are usually held once a month, and have options for beginner to advanced cooks, and various dietary needs including vegan, keto, gluten-free and diabetic-friendly.
