Tap Tap Art School is a mobile art school that works to provide meaningful art education, classes, and creative parties to people of all ages. They also have a free-standing location in Harker Heights.

About Tap Tap Art School

Tap Tap was created to promote visual arts in Central Texas. They began with a renovated school bus that traveled around the community providing classes and events and were eventually able to have a permanent location to better serve the community. The school is passionate about making art accessible to everyone regardless of age or experience level! Their goal is to advance their students’ art skills, embrace creativity, and host incredible private parties, field trips, and classes.

Tap Tap Art School Events

The school hosts a myriad of events throughout the year, so be sure to check their Facebook page often to see what’s coming down the pipeline! Past events have included pottery classes, trinket box crafting, holiday-themed painting, paper floristry, candle making, and so many more creative endeavors. Tap Tap’s events are usually low-cost to make them as accessible as possible, and any proceeds raised go right back to funding the school!

Tap Tap Summer Camp

From June to August, Tap Tap Art School will be hosting 10 summer camps to keep kids learning and entertained while they’re on summer break. From June 8 to June 11, students will explore 1920s fashion and art movements while they learn new skills and history! In mid-July, the TapTap Art School will take kids on a journey through the “wacky side of art” where they’ll learn about some of history’s craziest artists and their creations. Is your child into Steampunk? Enroll them in Tap Tap’s Steampunk Society camp from August 3 to August 6. They’ll get to unleash their intricate creativity while learning all about industrial machines.
