Toyota Has Built One Million Trucks In Texas

This year marks the plant’s 10-year anniversary since it’s groundbreaking, making it a memorable occasion for the entire San Antonio area. In production since October of 2006, the Tundra and the Tacoma factory employs some 2,900 residents, who help to ensure that the trucks produced are durable, reliable, and of the best possible quality. The most American truck Toyota has ever built, the Tundra’s V6 and V8 engines are manufactured in Huntsville, Alabama, with the transmissions built in Durham, North Carolina.
